The Community Cabinet program is a way to have two-way communication with Rep. Fluker Oakley. It is an opportunity for community members to learn about what’s happening in the State House, express perspective on local issues, give input and aid in the creation of policy. The Cabinet meets once every month for 2 hours.
Responsibilities include:
- Attend every monthly meeting on time and ready to participate
- Keep up with local and national news and come prepared to discuss
- Encourage other community members to attend quarterly community town halls
- Complete follow-up survey after each meeting to gauge effectiveness and provide feedback
